Did you know that exercise can improve the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease? It reduces stiffness, improves mobility and balance, and helps increase neurotransmitters to our hearts, lungs and nervous system.

Parkinson’s Disease is the fastest growing neurological disorder worldwide and is poised to continue to grow exponentially. And so for World Parkinson Day on April 11, together with our partners, we invite individuals with Parkinson’s Disease, caregivers, family members, and advocates to participate in free online fitness classes to raise awareness of the importance of exercising for Parkinson’s Disease.

All participants will get a one-month free membership to Burnalong for the month of April, where they can take classes from our hundreds of fitness and wellness partners and instructors. (You can sign up here if you haven’t already!)

Here are some new classes just added specifically geared to those with Parkinson’s. Check back here to see new videos added almost daily! And let us know what classes you’re looking for by leaving a comment below. Supported by the National Parkinson’s Foundation, the University of Rochester, and The Davis Phinney Foundation.
