Meet Brea Sharron Estep

Recently, we had the pleasure of catching up with one of our Burnalong partners, Brea Estep! Read on to learn more about Brea and her classes which you can find on Burnalong.

BA: “What do you teach?”
Brea: “Group Fitness, Bootcamp, Barre, Kickboxing, Stretch”

BA: “How did you get into fitness?”
Brea: “I’ve always been physically active, nd after a bad car accidents and needing to take time away from my dance major in college, I learned how to isolate muscles to build strength in order to rehab and transform my body. After years of weightlifting turned into being a personal trainer, I had friends encourage me to compete in fitness which made me feel even better eating ‘clean’ and led me into the nutrition side of health!”

BA: “How do you motivate others?”
Brea: “I motivate others through encouragement and celebrating even their smallest victories!”

BA: “Who are your heroes and role models?”
Brea: “The classic timeless beauty Audrey Hepburn has always been my role model. Not only was she an actress and model, she danced and most importantly she was a humanitarian giving back to others less fortunate.”

BA: “In your classes, how do you accommodate different skill and fitness levels?”
Brea: “In my classes the easiest way to accommodate different fitness or skill levels is to change the weights used (example: 5lb dumbbells for beginners and 25lb dumbbells for more advanced clients), but I also always try to incorporate a modification before beginning the exercise!”
